 2.4.2 Inserting Links for Additional Information

Use

The process initiator is provided with a link on the enterprise portal to information about his or her new residence. You provide this link in scenario step FSS_1 Request .

A different link that contains specific information about relocation (such as the upper limit for the relocation benefit) is displayed for the superior, the next higher level superior, and the HR Administrator. You provide this link in the scenario steps FSS_2 Insert Bonus Data , FSS_3 Approve/Reject Bonus , and FSS_4 Department Check .

In this lesson you perform the following activities:

  • You create both of the links described above.

  • You determine in which scenario steps the additional information is available.

Procedure

Defining Links for Additional Information

  1. Choose Start of the navigation path Configuration of Forms/Processes Next navigation step Configuration of Forms Next navigation step Cross-FormSettings Next navigation step Define Links for Additional Information End of the navigation path .

  2. Choose New Entries .

  3. Enter the following data:

Creating Links to Additional Information for Process Initiators

  1. In Design Time for Processes and Forms , select Form Scenario from the object selection area.

  2. Choose the form scenario ZTFS and ensure you are in edit mode.

  3. In the object hierarchy area, open the Other Attributes folder and double-click Additional Information .

  4. In the object processing area, enter Link1 in the first row of the Additional Information column and Link2 in the second row.

  5. Choose ENTER to automatically update the other fields.

  6. Save your entries .

Creating Links to Additional Information for Non-Initiator Processors

  1. In the object hierarchy area, double-click Scenario Steps.

  2. In the object processing area, double-click the Additional Information cell for scenario step FSS_2 ( Insert Bonus Data ). In the Attribute column of the new table, enter Visible as a link attribute.

  3. Repeat step 2 to provide links in scenario step FSS_3.

  4. Save your entries.

Result

You have created step-specific links to additional information for the various process agents.
