This process supports the moving of a position. The process consists of the following steps:

  1. The Requesting Manager enters the new organizational (org.) unit's details and sends the move request to the HR Administrator.

  2. The HR Administrator reviews the data entered by manager and sends the data (Update of master data).

Each role can enter comments using the field New Comments at the bottom of the form. All comments can be read by the subsequent processors in the field Previous Comments.

Prerequisites

Process

  1. The Requesting Manager starts the Move Position process.

  2. The Requesting Manager selects the position and goes to the Fill Out Form step. The Position ID and abbreviation are displayed at the top of the form.

  3. The Requesting Manager enters the date that the position move is to be effective from.

  4. The Requesting Manager enters the target Org. ID that the position is to be moved to. If required, he or she can enter a comment in the New Comments field, for example, explaining the reason for the name change.

  5. The form is sent to the next role involved in the process, the HR Administrator.

  6. The HR Administrator reviews the data entered by the Requesting Manager and sends the data.

  7. The HR Administrator enters a comment in the New Comments field, if necessary. The changes are saved to the master data

  8. End of process.

Result

The position has been moved to the new organizational unit.
