Shift Reports and Shift Notes for Technical Objects

Use

You can use shift notes and shift reports to enter and evaluate special events that occur within a shift for technical objects.

You use a shift note to create comments about a person, machine, or other special points that cannot be entered elsewhere in the system.

The person responsible for a shift generates a shift report manually at the end of a shift, as a PDF document, as a way of documenting and subsequently evaluating all the confirmations and shift notes entered during the shift, for example.

You can also include the following objects in the shift report:

  • Maintenance orders

  • Maintenance notifications

  • WCM objects

  • Measurement documents

There are two new authorization objects for controlling which activities a user can perform for shift reports:

  • C_COCF_SRF

Authorization object for shift reports that are created with reference to functional locations.

  • C_COCF_SRE

Authorization object for shift reports that are created with reference to equipment.

The following authorization objects are also available for shift notes and shift reports:

  • C_COCF_SRA

Authorization object for shift reports and shift notes that are created with reference to a work center.

  • C_COCF_SRH

Authorization object for shift reports and shift notes that are created with reference to a hierarchy.
