New job creation and activation streamlines the creation and approval of new jobs. The sample process enables an HR or job manager to apply for creating a new job by submitting an application form online. With this process, the responsible persons from HR and relevant departments can process the application request. When all approvals are acquired, the new job becomes approved. Once the organizational administrator activates the job, it becomes active in the system and the system automatically sends an email to the HR or job manager.

Prerequisites

Process

  1. An HR or job manager starts the process to apply for creating a new job. The HR or job manager fills out the required fields on the interactive PDF form S_HRPD_QA_JOB_CREATE, and submits this application form.

  2. The HR administrator (admin) receives the application request. HR admin checks the data and performs one of the following actions:

    • When the request complies with HR regulations, he or she gives the approval.

    • If the HR admin rejects the request, the process ends.

  3. The authorized manager receives the application request. He or she checks the data and performs one of the following actions:

    • When the request complies with the department regulations, he or she gives the approval.

      A new job is created with the status of Planned.

    • If the authorized manager rejects the request, the process ends.

  4. The Council of Ministers and Ministry of Economy and Finance receives the application request. It checks the data and performs one of the following actions:

    • When the request complies with the relevant regulations, it gives the approval.

      The new job’s status is converted to Approved.

    • If the Council of Ministers and Ministry of Economy and Finance rejects the request, the new job’s status is converted to Rejected, and the process ends.

  5. The organizational administrator (OM admin) receives the application request and activates the job.

    The new job’s status is converted to Active and the system sends a mail to notify the HR or job manager.

Result

A new job is created based on the application form Qatar Public Sector: New Job Creation and Activation. The status of the new job is one of the follows:

  • Active, if the request is approved and activated

  • Rejected, if the request is rejected
