 Creating a Requirements Subprofile for a Position: Example

Procedure

  1. Choose Start of the navigation path Human resources Next navigation step Personnel management Next navigation step Personnel development Next navigation step Profile Next navigation step Change. End of the navigation path

  2. The Change Profile screen appears.

  3. Select the position you want. For more information on selecting objects in the Object Manager, refer to Working With the Object Manager .

  4. Double-click the selected position.

  5. If the position has inherited requirements, these requirements are displayed with the status Inherited .

    To display the profile of the object from which the requirements were inherited, choose Inherited .

    To display the inheritance profile, choose Inheritance .

  6. If necessary, change the key date.

  7. Choose .

  8. To copy the requirements or qualifications of another object to the current requirement profile, choose .

    The Select Qualification dialog box appears.

  9. Select one or more qualifications that you want to include in the requirements subprofile, and choose .

  10. This takes you back to the Position: Change Profile <Data selection period> screen.

    To obtain more detailed information on a requirement, select the requirement in question and choose Start of the navigation path Requirements Next navigation step Display Next navigation step . End of the navigation path

  11. Select a proficiency for each requirement, and then choose Enter .

  12. If the requirement is to be an essential requirement, select the Ess (Essential) flag.

  13. If necessary, change the validity period by changing the values in the Start date and End date fields .

  14. Save your entries.

Result

You have added entries to the Requirements subprofile of the position.
