Function documentationTalent Profile in Print Format

 

You can use this function to display short profiles and detailed talent profiles as a PDF file and to print them.

Prerequisites

  • You are using SAP NetWeaver Adobe Document Services. For more information, see Adobe Document Services - Configuration.

  • In Customizing for Talent Management and Talent Development, under Start of the navigation path Basic Settings Next navigation step PDF-Based Documents in Talent Management Next navigation step Edit Application Forms in the Print Workbench End of the navigation path and Assign Application Forms to Elements of PDF-Based Documents, you have copied the following standard application forms to the productive client and assigned them to the mentioned parameters:

    Alternatively, you can create customer-specific application forms and assign them to these parameters.

Features

  • The talent profile uses the Portable Document Format (PDF) as the print format.

  • When creating handouts for a talent review meeting with agenda topics to which talents are assigned, talent management specialists can insert the talent profiles of these talents into the handouts.

  • Managers and talent management specialists can display a print preview of the talent profile for managers and talent management specialists, and then print it.

  • Employees, managers and talent management specialists can display a print preview of the talent profile for employees, and then print it.

  • In the print format, the following levels of detail of the talent profile are available:

    • Short Profile

      In the standard SAP system, this displays the data that is on the Overview tab in the talent profile for managers and talent management specialists.

    • Detailed Talent Profile

      In the standard SAP system, this displays all data that is stored in the talent profile, as well as the employee's qualifications and his or her development plan.

  • You can use the print workbench to edit the application forms for the short profile and the detailed talent profile. For example, you can include your company logo or specify which data the profiles are to contain.
