Revenue Event Type
Use
You determine a revenue event type in service-related revenue recognition.The revenue event type determines which
event
or
document
leads to recognition of the relevant revenues. You can choose from the options in the following table: You choose an option in the
Revenue Event
field in Customizing for the item category.

Incoming invoice The revenues are made available for recognition upon receipt of the incoming invoice. The revenues depend on the quantities invoiced in the incoming invoice (third-party business transaction). |

Customer-specific event: X / Y / Z The revenues are made available when a specific event occurs, which you can define using the BAdI for customer-specific events. |
