 Evaluation of Objects Without Appraisals

Use

This function is a special occurrence of the process Appraisal Evaluations . You can restrict your evaluation to objects that have not been appraisees or appraisers, or you can evaluate objects with and without appraisals at the same time.

You use this function if you want to determine:

  • Which appraisers have not held appraisals in a given period

If you are in Edit mode, you can then prepare and hold appraisals for the objects selected (see: Evaluating Objects Without Appraisals ).

Features

Objects can also have the status Without appraisal . This status always refers to a specific data selection period, and is never ambiguous - that is, a given object has either been an appraisee (perhaps several times), an appraiser, or neither).

This function also distinguishes between appraisers and appraisees. This means that you can determine whether a person has been an appraiser or an appraisee in a given period.

You can also display any appraisals that already exist. This means, for example, that you can determine who has already been appraised, who has been an appraiser, who has been neither, and what the appraisals in question are (if there are any).

Selection

You can choose from the following selection criteria:

  • With no appraisal flag

  • Display existing flag

In the following topics, you will find out what the effects of various selection criteria combinations are.

With no appraisal flag

This flag restricts the selection to objects that have been neither appraisee nor appraiser.

If this flag is selected, you will not be able to enter values for the following selection criteria:

  • Creation period

  • Further selection criteria

  • OR operator

  • In preparation

  • In process

  • Completed

The effects of the various selection criteria are described in the table below.

Output

The evaluation generates a list of objects that fulfill the selection criteria specified, and shich do not been involved in any appraisals. The status is displayed accordingly.

If an object does not appear in the list, or if the list is empty, this means that the object(s) in question have been involved in an appraisal (that is, the object(s) do not have the status With no appraisal ). To evaluate existing appraisals, either select the Display existing flag (see below), or deselect the Without appraisal flag.

For a list of output fields and their meanings, see Appraisal Evaluations .

Display existing flag

This flag shows all existing appraisals that fulfill the other selection criteria specified.

The Display existing flag can only be selected in conjunction with the With no appraisal flag. In addition to the effects mentioned above, the selection criteria change as shown in the following table:
