A change document is only written for changes to the current equipment usage period. The equipment usage period is the time span during which the location data, maintenance data, or business data of the piece of equipment has not changed. One equipment usage period corresponds to one event .
When the actual history is replaced with the target history , the system checks if change documents must be written. In doing so, it checks the current condition of the piece of equipment before and after the change. It enters the resulting changes in the change document.
If necessary, the system also writes one change document for each piece of equipment in the hierarchy.
Note
Historical changes are ignored.
You can makes changes to the history, but you can revoke these changes during the history change. In this case, no change document is written, because the current condition of the event is the same before and after the change.
The system documents the result of the check in the conversion log .
