 System Landscape

Service Parts Management (SPM) requires a complex system landscape and a seamless flow of information between each component in the landscape. To run SPM, your system landscape must consist of the following systems:

SAP Customer Relationship Management (SAP CRM)

SAP Supply Chain Management (SAP SCM)

SAP Advanced Planning and Optimization (SAP APO)

SAP Extended Warehouse Management (SAP EWM)

SAP Inventory Collaboration Hub (SAP ICH)

SAP Global Trade Services (SAP GTS)

SAP NetWeaver with the following usage types:

EnterprisePortal (EP)

Business Intelligence (BI)

Process Integration (PI)

You need one instance of each of the above systems but you can connect multiple instances of SAP EWM for your warehouses.

The figure below shows how the ERP system functions as the middleman and is connected to each of the other systems in the SPM landscape:
