You assign tasks to organizational objects (organizational units, positions, jobs, persons (employees) or users),
to describe the activities that they have to perform
so that SAP Business Workflow relevant tasks are forwarded to the correct agent.
You are familiar with Validity. Select a key date and preview period.
You can either assign tasks to objects or objects to tasks. The results will be identical.
Assigning an Object to a Task
Select a task. For more information, see Finding Objects and Displaying/Editing Objects.
In the selection area, double-click on the task.
The task is displayed in the overview area.
Choose and then Agent.
The objects that are already assigned to the task are displayed.
Search for an object that you want to assign to the task. For more information, see Finding Objects.
The object is displayed in the selection area.
Select this object in the selection area.
Holding down the left mouse button, drag the object to the task in the overview area.
The task is assigned to the object. To see the validity of the assignment, see Activating/Deactivating Query Time Period.
Save your entries by choosing .
Assigning a Task to an Object
You assign a task to an object in the Task Assignments in the overview area. If you are not in the Task assignments, choose Task Assignment.
The object is displayed in the overview area.

The task is displayed in the selection area.
Holding down the left mouse button, drag the task to the object in the overview area.
The task is assigned to the object. To see the validity of the assignment, see Activating/Deactivating Query Time Period.
