 Goods Issue Cancellation

Use

Use this function if you have posted goods issue by accident or find that there is a problem with the shipment (for example, goods are damaged while on the shipping dock).

If the system has already created the documents for the next cross-docking location, you must first cancel these documents.

Note Note

To minimize the number of cases where you need to cancel subsequent documents, you can schedule output processing to run a periodic job shortly before the documents are physically required at the next warehouse. To do this, you attach an output timing program to the output type in Customizing (IMG path: Start of the navigation path Logistics Execution Next navigation step Shipping Next navigation step Basic Shipping Functions Next navigation step Output Control Next navigation step Output Determination Next navigation step Maintain Output Determination for Outbound Deliveries Next navigation step Maintain Output Types) End of the navigation path .

End of the note.

Integration

When you choose to cancel a goods issue in your EWM system:

  • The EWM system calls BAPI_OUTB_DELIVERY_CHANGE, which checks the ERP system to determine whether goods issue cancellation is permitted.

  • The ERP system calls BAdI /SPE/GI_CANCEL, which checks the status of the subsequent pair of cross-docking documents.

If goods issue cancellation is allowed, the ERP system:

  • Reverses the goods movement documents

  • Resets the distribution status and goods issue status

  • Deletes the output that would have triggered the creation of the next delivery document pair
