Common Principles when Passing Lists for Further ProcessingLocate this document in the navigation structure

Use

The interactive functions for the further processing of lists are governed by certain common principles:

  • The functions for processing lists can always be applied to statistics and ranked lists. They can almost always be applied to basic lists. See also Interactive Multiple-Lined Basic Lists.

  • The interactive functions for processing lists can also be accessed from the table display ( Displaying Results as a Table). Remember that hidden rows are not passed on. Hidden columns, however, are always passed on.

  • If a list in SAP Query consists of several sublists (a basic list, statistics and ranked lists), you can pass only one of these for further processing. This is always the sublist over which the cursor is positioned when you call the function. Otherwise, it is the first sublist that is displayed on the screen.
