Defining basic lists

The basic list is the simplest type of list that you create using SAP Query. The data that is displayed in a basic list has not been summarized, meaning that the data is displayed as it appears in the data source.

There are single-line basic lists and multiple-line basic lists. In a single-line basic list, all the fields are displayed in a single line. In a multiple-line basic list, the fields are displayed in two or more lines.
