 Displaying the Succession Overview for an Organizational Unit

Procedure

  1. Choose Start of the navigation path Human resources Next navigation step Personnel management Next navigation step Personnel development Next navigation step Information system Next navigation step Reports Next navigation step Organizational unit Next navigation step Succession overview. End of the navigation path

  2. The Succession Overview screen appears.

  3. Enter the name or ID of the organizational unit in question.

  4. To determine the suitability of potential successors, select the Suitability analysis flag.

  5. Choose .

  6. The Planning Criteria dialog box appears.

  7. Select the criteria you want, and choose Transfer.

  8. The Succession Overview screen appears. The number of potential successors defined for each position is displayed. The information displayed is broken down by planning criterion.

Profile of a position

Position your cursor on the position in question, and choose Start of the navigation path Goto Next navigation step Profile End of the navigation path .

 

Succession planning scenario for a position

Position your cursor on the entry you want in the Object name column, and double-click to open the profile. Choose Start of the navigation path Goto Next navigation step Succession planning. End of the navigation path

 

Hitlist for a position (for all planning criteria, or for an individual planning criterion)

Position your cursor on the entry and column in question, and double-click to open the list.

From this hitlist, you can access the profile of every potential successor that appears in the list by double-clicking.

Result

The system displays an overview of the succession scenarios defined for every position within the organizational unit specified.
