 Editing User-Specific Settings

Use

User-specific settings can be:

  • Permanent (that is, they apply to all terminal sessions for a specific user)

  • Temporary (and no permanent settings are defined) - in this case, they apply to the current terminal session

  • Temporary (and permanent settings have been defined) - in this case, they overwrite the permanent settings for the current terminal session

  • Reset to the permanent settings

Procedure

  1. Choose Start of the navigation path Human resources Next navigation step Personnel management Next navigation step Personnel development Next navigation step Settings Next navigation step User-specific. End of the navigation path

  2. The Settings for Personnel Development dialog box appears.

  3. Enter your data as required.

  4. To save your date, proceed as follows:

Choose:

Save your settings as permanent settings

 Permanent

Save/change your settings temporarily

Temporary

Switch back to your permanent settings

Reset

Result

You have change your user-specific settings.
