Pushbuttons
All pushbuttons, together with the possible previous and next statuses that can be selected for an appraisal document, are stored for each pushbutton in this subdialog structure. You define only main statuses in this subdialog structure.
Person authorized for workflow
In this subdialog, you must store the user IDs of all users who are to have authorization to execute workflow events.
Workflow events
All executable workflow events are stored in this subdialog.
Status description
In the
Status Change: Description
field, you can enter a descriptive text.
Note that you can only select statuses and substatuses on the tab page if certain settings, such as the availability of columns or selection or processing procedures, have been made. For more information, see the documentation for the Columns and Processing tab pages.
Checkboxes
The checkboxes that you use to select the statuses you want to assign for the appraisal process are included on this tab page on the left half of the screen.
When you place the cursor on a status and double-click, the name of the outbound status and outbound substatus of this status are displayed on the right half of the screen. You can edit the status.
Function Keys
The right screen area includes the
Create
function key for creating additional pushbuttons in the appraisal document and further pushbuttons for
deleting
and
sorting
existing pushbuttons. The following pushbuttons are also available:
Formatted Report
pushbutton
If you choose this pushbutton, the system displays a general overview of all existing status change settings the document runs through.
Caution
Information Button
If you choose this pushbutton, you can display basic information about how to set up the appraisal process.
Set Status
pushbutton
This pushbutton is only shown if you have selected the substatus
Part Appraisal in Process
for processing. In this instance, you have to define a target status to determine which target status the appraisal document is to receive after the final part appraisal. This is in addition to the data you have to define in the group box.
Navigation Arrows
If several pushbuttons exist in the appraisal document for one status, you can use the navigation arrows to display the properties of the existing pushbuttons. You can create up to three pushbuttons for each status or substatus.
Status Flow: Options group box
This group box shows the valid data for the status you have selected for processing. You can use input help to overwrite or add to this data. If you choose a different name for a pushbutton, the possible selection values in the input help are changed automatically in the background.
In the
Workflow
field, you can select a workflow event from the value list that is to be triggered if the appraisal document has a particular status.
In the
Note
field, you can define whether the processor cannot enter a note at all, has the option of entering a note, or is required to enter a note before the status of the appraisal document is changed. For more information, see the field help (F1). The default value in the standard SAP system is
Do Not Enter Note.
Status Flow: Descriptions group box
In the
Status Change: Description
field, you specify which text you want displayed for the relevant change of status or substatus:
You can display the texts for the change of status or substatus in the appraisal document.
You can also display the description texts for the change of status or substatus in the appraisal document.
