In the standard system, we provide a General view that displays basic information about the bill of material (BOM). We also provide the following further views, which display related objects for the bill of material:
Structure
This view lists all items in a bill of material.
Linked documents
This displays all documents that have been assigned to the header of the BOM.
Used/Reserved Change Numbers
This displays the change numbers with which the BOM has been created, changed, or deleted. Change numbers that have not yet been used, but that are reserved for future maintenance of the BOM are also displayed.
Manufacturer Parts
This displays the manufacturer parts that are assigned to materials of the corresponding BOM items.
Access Control Contexts
This displays the contexts in which the BOM belongs. You can also see whether the context is an owning context or a compound context.
Transferable BOM Objects
This displays the BOM objects that can be transferred to other contexts (see Setting of Transfer Options).
Linked Synchronization BOM to BOM
This displays the synchronization units used to perform a BOM to BOM synchronization for the BOM as the central object.
Linked Synchronization PSM to BOM
This displays the synchronization units used to perform a PSM to BOM synchronization for the BOM as the central object.
Assignment for Synchronization Recipe to BOM
This displays the following:
The assignment of the synchronization unit to the recipe version that was scheduled for synchronization or was already synchronized.
The change number of the production bill of material
The status of the assignment
The recipe that was synchronized or planned for synchronization
