This service has been developed especially for the role
Personnel Development Manager
. It enables a manager (or some other type of supervisor responsible for human resources) to view the appraisals where he/she was appraiser or appraisee, and to create and edit appraisals from his/her
mySAP.com Workplace.

Eases the manager’s workload with regard to human resource related duties, since he/she can view these appraisals, or create other appraisals from his/her
mySAP.com Workplace
at any time, and anywhere.
At the same time, the manager can find out how he/she has been appraised.
This service is assigned to the role
Manager Generic Personnel Development.
You must have assigned the role
Personnel Development Manager
to the user (manager, supervisor, etc.) in question.
Appraisal models must already be defined.
The user also requires the following authorizations:
Authorization for display his/her own appraisals
Authorization for displaying and editing the appraisals of the employees for whom he/she is responsible
No special security measures need to be implemented.
The initial screen is simple and contains 3 tab pages (
Appraisals to be edited
,
Appraisals where appraiser
, and
Appraisals where appraisee
) so that the manager can access the required function directly.
On the
Appraisals to be edited
tab pages, appraisals can be created
and deleted
. By clicking
, the manager can call up a default appraisal model (annual review, for example). In addition to this, the manager can also show a drop-down list box of appraisal models (individual appraisals), and select one for creating an appraisal.
On the
Appraisals to be edited
and
Appraisals where appraisee
tab pages, the appraisals can be sorted alphabetically – in ascending order
and descending order
.
Every appraisal can be analyzed accurately (by clicking, the manager goes directly to the appraisal sheet for the appraisal in question).
The appraiser and appraisal status are displayed for every appraisal where the manager was an appraisee.
Once the manager has created, edited, and completed an appraisal, the appraisal in question appears immediately on the
Appraisals where appraisee
tab page (he/she may need to click the Refresh icon
first).
The service name of this ESS is MY_APPRAISALM. All the files relating to this service have been stored under this name in the SAP system.

Every change you make to the SAP development objects used in this service constitutes a system modification. Never change the development objects in the standard system!
