To run the Service Parts Management (SPM) processes, each of the systems must be connected to the ERPsystem. The sections below describe the settings required to allow the ERPsystem to communicate with the other SPM systems.
The ERP system communicates with SAPCRM using CRM Middleware. For more information, see SAP Library of
SAP CRM
under
.
You transfer both master data and application data to SAPEWM.
Interfaces in both the ERPsystem and your SAPEWM system(s) allow you to transfer application data in the form of tight coupling. To ensure a high level of stability, the application data is transferred asynchronously.
For more information, in the
qRFC Monitor (Inbound Queue)
transaction (transaction code SMQ2), choose
.
Note
The system transfers only single documents.
For more information about the settings required for transferring the application data to SAPEWM, see Customizing for
Logistics Execution
under
.
In addition to the settings required in the ERP system, you must also make settings for the transfer of transaction data
in SAP EWM
. In Customizing for
Extended Warehouse Management
in your SAPEWM system, choose
.
The ERPsystem uses APO Core Interface (CIF) to communicate with SAPAPO.
For more information, see SAP Library of
SAP Supply Chain Management (SAPSCM)
under
.
The ERPsystem uses IDocs and interfaces of usage type Process Integration (PI) in SAP NetWeaver to communicate with SAP Inventory Collaboration Hub (SAP ICH). You also need the usage type PI to transfer data between SAPICH and other external systems.
For more information about the functions provided by SAP ICH, see SAP Library of
SAPSupply Chain Management (SCM)
under
SAP Inventory Collaboration Hub (SAPICH)
.
For more information about the required interfaces of the usage type PI, see SAP Library of
SAP Supply Chain Management (SCM)

Given the amount of data that you transfer between systems, you can also monitor queues between the systems. For more information, see Administration and Monitoring .
