 Entering Attributes of Application Area

Use

Entering the attributes of application areas is a means of integrating the correspondence tool in the various SAP application components.

Prerequisites

You imported the SAP_ABA support package and registered the application in the development system.

Procedure

  1. In the development system of the application, call view V_TFK070ZD in transaction SM30.

  2. Assign a BTE application indicator to the application area. This indicator is used for determining application-specific modules of Business Transaction Events (BTE).

  3. Specify how the correspondence requests of correspondence types of your application area are archived and deleted; that is, choose either mass archiving in the tool, or application-specific functions (for instance, archiving in Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable).

  4. If the application added its own fields in database table DFKKCOHI, and if you want these fields to be considered during selection in the archive for display of the correspondence history, you have to define a suitable field catalog and enter it here. Or you can use field catalog SAP_CORR_001.
