You create and edit forms using one of the following:

  • Adobe LiveCycle Designer (Form Builder) – The Adobe LiveCycle Designer is software from the company Adobe Systems Inc. that is integrated in the SAP environment. You use it to create Interactive Forms. For more information, see Creating Interactive Forms Using Adobe LiveCycle Designer.

  • Floorplan Manager (FPM) Configuration – FPM is a Web Dynpro ABAP application that provides a framework for developing new Web Dynpro ABAP application interfaces consistent with SAP UI guidelines. In the Design Time Tool, the Component Configuration Editor provides a framework to support UI development based on FPM. You use it to create forms, lists and composite layouts. For more information, see Editing the Form Layout Using FPM Configurations.

  • Customer-Specific Forms – You can create a form using an external UI that then accesses the HCM Processes & Forms framework using the service layer. You can use the HCM Processes & Forms framework with any UI technology, for example, JSP, ASP.NET, Silverlight, and so on. For more information, see Creating a Form Using an External UI.
