Function documentationScenario Steps

You use this function to define scenario steps for a process. At least one scenario step is required for a process, which is created automatically. You can also assign scenario steps to workflow steps.

Activities

  • For each form scenario that you create, the system creates a default scenario step.

  • You need at least one scenario step to assign it to the process in the Form Scenario node in the section Form Scenario for Process Start. For this, you can use the default scenario step that has been automatically created for the form scenario.

  • You should enter easily identifiable labels for the scenario steps, since they are used in the workflow to create the text of the work item and appear under this name in the Universal Worklist (UWL) of the next processor.

  • You can define confirmation texts that are displayed on the confirmation screens.

Note Note

In contrast to Adobe or FPM processes, you cannot define fields, operations, attachments, and links for scenario steps in roadmap processes. For this reason, these columns are hidden in the table control for roadmap form types.

End of the note.
