 Processing of Checked Deliveries

Use

After the conversion of unchecked to checked deliveries and the distribution of the deliveries to SAP EWM, the warehouse owns the control of the deliveries.

Service Parts Management (SPM) transfers data about changes to checked deliveries between SAP CRM or other originating systems (such as backorder processing within SAP APO) and SAP Extended Warehouse Management (SAP EWM).

Quantity Changes Triggered by SAP CRM

An increase of the sales order quantity leads to the creation of an additional unchecked delivery for the delta quantity.

A decrease of the sales order quantity is routed directly to SAP EWM as a quantity change request or a cancellation request.

Quantity Changes Triggered by SAP EWM

A decrease of quantity can be adjusted at a later point in time, with goods issue at the latest.

Delivery Changes/Confirmation in the ERP system

After confirmation of the delivery in SAP EWM, the ERP system also confirms the delivery. In case of quantity shortages, the quantity is adjusted. The system then posts the goods issue.

When the delivery is related to the Kit to Order process, the system triggers goods issue for kits. For more information see Kit to Order .
