Test Environment
To test the functions of business objects and business object enhancements (enhancements), use the Business Object test environment (BO test environment). Since all business objects and enhancements have a unified interface, the BO test environment provides a generic test environment for all business objects and enhancements you create using Business Object Builder (BO Builder). The following figure shows the screen areas of the BO test environment including node instance navigation, the table editor, the node instance editor, and the change history panel:

Using the BO test environment you can test core services such as creating, updating, or deleting business object instances. Furthermore, you can execute, for example, actions and validations on node instances to check whether they run correctly.
To access the BO test environment, use transaction Business Object Builder - Test (BOBT). To open the business object or enhancement you want to test, enter its technical name in the entry field and press Enter. You can open multiple business objects and enhancements in succession and test them during the same test session.
If you want to test the business object or enhancement you are currently working on, you can access the test environment by clicking the 
pushbutton in BO Builder.
