Archiving Contract Accounts (FS-CD)
Use
In order to ease the load on your database, you can archive contract accounts.
Prerequisites
A contract account (or a partner item for the contract account) can be archived if
It is flagged for archiving
All documents on this account have been archived
It is not longer assigned to an insurance object.
You have activated the archive information structure for the contract account archive. Choose

Features
You can use contract account archiving to ease the load on your database at any time, by archiving the contract accounts you no longer need online. These contract accounts are then deleted from the database and written to an archive file.
You can display archived contract accounts via the archive information system.
Activities
You archive (and delete) with the SAP standard tool for archiving, the Archive Development Kit. Choose
Collections/Disbursements
Periodic Processing
Archive Data
Contract Accounts
from the SAP Easy Access Menu.
You go directly to transaction SARA. The archiving object for archiving contract accounts is FI_CA.

BUSOBARCH: BDT archiving, archiving program
