This process describes the typical scenario for archiving an EH&S document.
The archiving process depends on the EH&S document type. For each EH&S document type, an entry is made in Customizing specifying which data carrier is to be used to store the documents. Either the SAP database (SAP-SYSTEM) or an archive can be specified as the data carrier.
The following EH&S document types are supported:
For reports:

The EH&S document is exported asynchronously to an optical archive.
