Search Connector StatisticsLocate this document in the navigation structure

Use

You can use this function to monitor and analyze the processing of search connectors.

Prerequisites

  • You have the necessary authorizations, which are granted to you in one of the following ways:

    • In the Role Maintenance (PFCG) transaction, you are assigned to the BCV Administrator (SAP_BCV_ADMIN) role.

    • On the SAP NetWeaver Portal, you are assigned to the BCV Administrator (com.sap.pct.bs_fnd.BCV_ADMIN) role.

  • You have defined search connectors.

  • You have executed searches.

Features

The statistic displays for each search connector data for the following criteria:

  • Number of executed searches

  • Number of errors during search

  • Last and first execution date

  • Processing times, such as minimum and average processing time

  • Number of retrieved result records, such as minimum number of retrieved results records

  • Time per record, such as minimum or maximum time per record

You can change the display of the statistic with the SAP standard functionality, such as sort, change layout, set filter, calculate totals and subtotals or display graphics.

You can display search connector statistics in the following ways:

  • In the configuration center, choose Display Search Connector Statistics.

  • In Customizing under Start of the navigation path Cross-Application Components Next navigation step Processes and Tools for Enterprise Applications Next navigation step Business Context Viewer  Next navigation step Search Integration Next navigation step Display Search Connector Statistics End of the navigation path.
