 Dismantling Equipment

  1. From the main screen, choose Start of the navigation path Logistics Next navigation step Plant maintenance Next navigation step Technical objects Next navigation step FunctLocation Next navigation step Change Next navigation step . End of the navigation path

  2. The screen Change Functional Location: Initial , is displayed.

  3. Make all the necessary entries for the functional location in the initial screen and then choose either Start of the navigation path Goto Next navigation step Location data Next navigation step or Next navigation step Goto Next navigation step PM data Next navigation step . End of the navigation path

  4. The functions for installing/dismantling are on both screens.

  5. Choose Start of the navigation path Structure Next navigation step Equipment Next navigation step . End of the navigation path

  6. You go to the screen Installation Location: Equipment Overview , on which you see a list of all the pieces of equipment installed at this functional location.

    For how to change the position number of the installed pieces of equipment, see Changing the Position Number .

  7. Select the pieces of equipment which you want to dismantle from the functional location.

  8. Choose Start of the navigation path Edit Next navigation step Dismantle equipment End of the navigation path .

  9. The system deletes the selected pieces of equipment from the list.

  10. Using Start of the navigation path Extras Next navigation step Change log End of the navigation path , you can display:

  • Which pieces of equipment were dismantled

  • Which pieces of equipment were installed before the dismantling

  • Which pieces of equipment are installed after the dismantling

If you want to use the Data transfer function for the dismantled pieces of equipment, proceed as described in Data Transfer .

  1. Return to the Maintenance data or Location data screen.

  2. Save the dismantling.
