Using the Security Audit Log, you can track events in the SAP system, such as changes to the configuration that are made under Manage Server Services
(transaction CGSADM
). If you activate the audit log, all actions are recorded that you classify as important for tracking. You can then access this information and evaluate it in the form of an audit analysis report.
If you want to track security-relevant commands that are executed under Manage Server Services
(transaction CGSADM
), you have to configure the Security Audit Log
(transaction SM19
).
Changes to the configuration under Manage Server Services
are recorded in change documents. You activate and deactivate the creation of change documents using the environment parameter CGSADM_NO_CHANGE_DOCS in Customizing for Basic Data and Tools
under Specify Environment Parameters
.
Using the report Display Change Documents (Cross-Client)
(RSSCD110
), you can call up the change documents (object class ESSADM).
