The interface for the document transfer with revenue item contains a fixed XI interface. In message FICAExternalBillingNotification_In , the data is transferred in different segments, similar to the procedure in the IDoc interface.

During inbound processing of the XI message in Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable, the information of the individual segments is converted to IDocs, so that you can then ultimately transfer them using the IDoc document transfer (transaction FKK_EBS_TOI_COPA).

The structure of the XI message is similar to the structure of the IDoc base types FKK_EBS_DOC and FKK_EBS_DOC_TREE.
