This business function offers you additional innovations to optimize and structure predefined appraisal processes (predefined Performance Management processes) in your enterprise more efficiently. Administrators can use the considerable improvements to set up the appraisal template for the process and make the appraisal documents based on that template available to the relevant roles (Manager and Employee). This includes:
For the appraisal template, administrators can edit the criteria groups set by SAP, such as Individual Goals, or they can create and edit custom criteria groups.
Administrators can correct and translate required texts for the appraisal template both before and after the start of the process.

Administrators can use the following functions for the criteria groups provided by SAP (examples: Individual Goals, Competency and Development Goals, Team Goals, Corporate Goals, Core Values):

You cannot use the functions listed above for existing appraisal templates.
To implement these functions, you must create a new appraisal template.
In Customizing, administrators can edit the texts required for the template (for example, correct errors) and translate these texts into one or more target languages to make the template available to managers or employees in the desired language. Administrators can also correct and translate template texts after the predefined Performance Management process has already begun.
