Determining the Support Message Component

If an error occurs when using the SAP Fiori launchpad, you can report the error from inside SAP Fiori launchpad using the Contact Support option. The system proposes the relevant message component in the back-end system.

When the error occurs, the system determines the relevant message component based on the current application used. This can the BSP, SAPUI5 application, SAP GUI for HTML, and Web Dynpro ABAP.

If this is not successful, the message component is determined based on the related LPD_CUST launchpad.

If this is not successful, the message component is determined based on the catalog ID for the catalog in which the LPD_CUST launchpad is used.

If the message component is not determined successfully, the component remains empty.
