Getting Support, Giving FeedbackLocate this document in the navigation structure

You can contact support directly from the launchpad, and send your thoughts and ideas about the launchpad to SAP.

Getting Support

Prerequisites

To receive support, SAP Solution Manager must be part of the system landscape.

Context

When the feature for contacting support is active, technical information, such as navigation data, errors, user details, and server details, is collected while you work. If you choose to contact support, from the Options menu or from an error message, you can enter free text to describe the problem. The free text and the technical data are used to create a support ticket (for example an incident in SAP Solution Manager).

Procedure

  1. In the header bar, click or tap the (Options) icon and select Contact Support; or in an error message, choose the Contact Support button.
  2. Enter a description of the problem.
Choose Show Technical Data to view some of the technical data that will be appended to the ticket.
  3. Choose Send to create the support ticket (for example, an incident in SAP Solution Manager).

Giving Feedback

Context

If the feedback option is enabled, select Give Feedback to send to SAP your feedback as a launchpad user.

Procedure

  1. In the header bar, click or tap the (Options) icon and select Give Feedback.
  2. Select an emoticon that best fits your experience, and enter a description of the problem.
Choose Show Technical Data to view some of the technical data that will be sent together with your feedback.
  3. After reading the SAP Legal Agreement, confirm that you have read and accepted the legal terms.
  4. Choose Send.
