The Configure KPI Tiles app allows you to create tile visualizations for an active evaluation.
The app also lets you configure the drill-down navigation path for the tile. This determines whether you navigate from the tile to the SAP Smart Business generic drill-down application or to a custom application when you click the tile at runtime.
In the Configured Tiles view, you can display the tiles that you have configured for the selected active evaluation.
Select an active evaluation and choose Add Tile to add a new tile. You can choose from one of the following tile formats:
Numeric | Data is presented in a number format. The aggregate value of the KPI main measure of
the evaluation is displayed on the tile. The color of the
value indicates whether the value is in conformance with the
threshold values defined for the evaluation. Note The
virtual data model (VDM) must ensure that all the values
for the KPI main measure column have the same Unit of
Measure (UoM), else, the number displayed on the tile
may not be the expected value. This is because when the
aggregate value is fetched, it is grouped based on the
UoM. If there are multiple UoMs for the backend values
of the KPI main measure column, then grouping by UoM
would result in multiple records being returned and
Smart Business only picks up the first value that is
returned.
|
Comparison | You select a dimension for which to show the top KPI values in comparison to each other. For example, if you select Customer as the dimension, you see a comparison of the values for the top customers contributing to this KPI. |
Trend | Data is presented as a line chart illustrating the trend over time. You must enter a time dimension representing a duration (for example, month or week) to visualize this tile. |
Actual vs. Target | Data is presented graphically in the form of a bullet chart that shows the current value of the KPI in relation to the target value and its thresholds. |
Comparison Tile Multiple Measures | You select multiple measures to be displayed on the tile. You must select at least two measures. Only a maximum of three measures are allowed. You must select at least two measures or a maximum of three measures. The measures should be either the evaluation main measure or threshold measures or one of the additional measures defined for the evaluation using the Create Evaluation modeler app. You can associate semantic coloring with each of the measures that you choose. |
Dual Tile | You can create a dual tile, which is a 2x1 tile. In the dual tile, the left part always shows the KPI measure in numeric format but the right part can show any one of the mini chart visualizations supported by Smart Business. |
Choose whether the drill-down for this tile leads to the SAP Smart Business generic drill-down application or another application (for example, SAP Lumira or a custom application).
If you choose the other drill-down, you must specify the semantic object and action (and application parameters if required) with which the SAP Fiori framework can start these applications.
If the semantic object and the action are already specified for the evaluation of the tile that you are configuring, these values are carried over during tile configuration (if you have chosen Generic Drill-Down, the action is overwritten by the action for the generic drill-down).
If you select SAP Lumira as the other drill-down, the semantic object and action are already prefilled and you only need to select the SAP Lumira story ID that you want to navigate to from your tile.
Only active entities are available at runtime. If either the main measure or the threshold measures are displayed on the tile and if the scaling factor (defined using the Create Evaluation app) of the evaluation for which you have configured the tile is percentage-based (%) then the value returned from the VDM for the main measure or threshold measures in the backend is displayed as a percentage. For example, if the backend returns a value 0.70 then it is displayed as 70%.
You can now configure a KPI drill-down directly from the Configure KPI Tiles application by choosing the Save and Configure Drilldown pushbutton.
Target mapping is done against the combination of a semantic object and an action, and this determines the navigation. Target mappings are effective for a user only if they belong to a catalog, that is, only if the PFCG role is assigned to the user.
For more information about target mapping, see under .In the absence of the above three, the KPI main measure is used as a default semantic object and analyzeSBKPIDetails is used as a default action.
Fiori framework uses the target mapping configured for the semantic object and action thus identified, to determine where the click of the tile navigates to.
