Object Type for Modeling

If you are using a SAP HANA database, you do not need as many object types to model your data in BW.

You can continue using the existing InfoProvider types. Note however that the central CompositeProvider and the Open ODS view for the virtual layer, and the DataStore object (advanced) for the persistency layer, both make modeling easier. We therefore recommend using these new objects. All of them are created and edited in the same modeling environment, the BW Modeling tools.
