Favorites

In your BW project, you will generally work with a limited selection of InfoAreas and BW metadata objects. You can assign objects that are especially relevant for your work in a certain BW project to the Favorites node in this project.

The Favorites node is user-defined and structured collection of InfoAreas and BW metadata objects belonging to BW Project. The assignment of InfoAreas and BW metadata objects to the favorites is saved locally with the BW project. The favorites are not saved in the BW system, and will be lost if you delete the BW project.

The Favorites node is one of the nodes directly below the root of the project tree. Under this node, the InfoAreas () assigned to the back end favourites are listed, together with their BW metadata objects. The BW metadata objects assigend individually to the back end favourites in the corresponding semantic folder (), for CompositeProviders or Open ODS views for example, are also listed.
