Linking to Conditions: Bottom 2 Revenue and Invoiced Quantity > 100,000,000Locate this document in the navigation structure

You want to identify the two products which may well be sold in large unit quantities but whose total revenue is small. In other words, both conditions should apply.

Define the following conditions:

  • Bottom 2 revenue:
    1. When you are defining the condition, choose All Characteristics in Drilldown Independent, under Characteristic Assignment.
    2. Enter the following condition row:

Choose the key figure Net Revenue, the operator Top N and enter 2 as the value.

  • Invoiced quantity is larger than one million:
    1. When you are defining the condition, choose All Characteristics in Drilldown Independent, under Characteristic Assignment.
    2. Enter the following condition row:

Choose the key figure Invoiced Quantity, the operator Greater than and enter 100,000,000 as the value.

The query displays the product Post-it Set that meets the two conditions: It has both a high quantity of units sold (100,000,000) but generates very little total revenue:

Rule 2: Linking Multiple Conditions

Multiple Conditions in a query are linked logically with AND if the conditions are active and applicable. A characteristic value is only displayed if it fulfills all conditions of the query.

With several conditions, in this case it is two, you can see the average amount of the conditions.
