Special Features
The Tran IDs used in the object key are generated for different object versions in the same manner. They differ in that the RSDS name of the DataSource is used for the active object, and the SHDS name is used in the shadow version.
Transformations can reference routines or formulas. If there is more than one target source system, the routines and formulas for each target source system are also copied during a transport or during BI Content activation. The copies are entered in the modified and active versions of the relevant (target source system-specific) transformation. When a transformation is deleted in which the referenced routines and formulas are also deleted, this prevents the other transformations that were created from the same shadow version or transport version from becoming inconsistent.
