You want to restrict the data displayed in the analysis grid in such a way that you only display the data for a characteristic value based on another characteristic value. You want to display the sales data for the distribution channel Fax for the month 02.2003.

In the analysis grid, drag the characteristic value Fax to the characteristic value 02.2003.

The analysis grid is updated accordingly: Only the sales data relevant for February 2003 for the distribution channel Fax is displayed. As a result of the drag and drop action, the system automatically filters the characteristic Distribution Channel to the characteristic value Fax and the characteristic Calendar Year/Month to the characteristic value 02.2003. This information is displayed in the filter pane.
