Restrictions in the BEx Analyzer

The Query Designer provides settings for the new data provider functions (new features for exceptions and conditions). When you execute a query that uses these new features in the BEx Analyzer, these settings are not evaluated.

You therefore need to note the following:

Exceptions

In the BEx Analyzer, it is not possible to display an exception in a cell other than the cell than contains the threshold values.

Conditions

In the BEx Analyzer, it is not possible to apply the selected condition on the last characteristic of a specific axis only.

Result

For the settings for exceptions and conditions to be evaluated, you must first execute a query in BEx Web.
