The input help dialog in BEx helps you to select characteristic values in various areas of the Business Explorer.

Activities

BEx Query Designer

Select your required characteristic in the Filter screen area and choose Restrict in the context menu.

BEx Analyzer

In the context menu, choose Select Filter Value.

BEx Report Designer

You can call the input help in the following ways:

  • In the BEx Report Designer, from the context menu of a group header or a group footer, in the Report Structure window, choose Conditional Formatting.
  • In the BEx Report Designer, in the menu, choose Format → Conditional Formatting.
