Context

You use this procedure to create, modify or reuse design objects of ES Repository that are required for modelling integration flows in Process Integration scenarios.

Procedure

  1. Establish a connection with ES Repository to enable you to create design objects or reuse objects from ES Repository.

For more information, see Establishing a Connection with ES Repository .

  2. Create repository objects required for shipment and for grouping your design objects. For more information, see Creating Software Component Version and Creating Namespace .
    Note

You uniquely identify an object in the ES Repository by specifying a software component version and a namespace.

  3. Create or modify the design objects such as service interfaces, message types, and data types.
  4. Create the mappings objects to model the connections between the message types or operations of service interfaces.
  5. Create a change list to organize all the changes made to an object. For more information, see Working with a Change List
  6. If you want to receive an e-mail notification whenever there is a change in object, subscribe to the interface object. For more information, see Managing Subscriptions
