Business Data Flow: Kanban without Material Requirements Planning (MRP)

The process runs as follows:
The customer sends a kanban request from his or her back-end system to the SAP SNC system.
When the materials are ready for delivery, the supplier sends an advanced shipping notification (ASN) from the ERP system to SAP SNC, or creates a shipping notification in SAP SNC with the Web input.
SAP SNC sends the advanced shipping notification to the customer’s back-end system.
The customer confirms the goods receipt of the inbound delivery in the back-end system, and the information is transferred to SAP SNC.
Business Data Flow: Kanban with MRP

The business data flow for kanban with MRP is the same as for kanban without MRP. You can also transfer a scheduling agreement release as a forecast from the customer's ERP system to SAP SNC.
