 Creating a Promotion

Use

You use this process to create promotion(s) for specific location/products. You can create multiple promotions for one location/product, and one promotion can have multiple location/products.

Prerequisites

You have created a promotion profile and promotion parameters for the location/product.

SNC Planner

You can further refine your search by using Advanced Selection.

Once you have entered your search criteria, choose Go .

Selection List

The system finds the appropriate location/product(s) and displays them in the Selection List .

You choose the items that you want by selecting the appropriate checkbox in the leftmost column, and then choosing the Select button.

Promotion Items

The system copies the items that you selected in the Selection List into Promotion Items. Optionally, you can manually add more location/products by using Insert Line .

You enter the total promotion quantity or percentage of baseline quantity for each item. If you enter both total and percentage , the percentage overrides the total . In the latter case, the system calculates the promotion total by multiplying the baseline forecast by the percentage you enter.
