Creating a PAL Printer

Creating a PAL Printer means that you define an existing output device that uses one of the supported access methods (see: Supported Access Methods for PAL) as the PAL Printer.

Procedure

You can choose output devices:

from the Central System
from any Target System.

In section Show, select Printer. In the table below all existing PAL Printers are displayed. To create a new PAL Printer, click Create.

Source of Output Device: Central System

Select Central System and click Next.

The dialog box Create PAL Printers appears. All available output devices are listed. You can select the required output device directly from the list or use the filter function to search for specific output devices. To choose more than one output device, press SHIFT and click on the output devices in the list. Choose Next. Confirm the following message with Yes.

Result

The selected output devices are now displayed with status Success and description Printer <NAME> created. Choose Close.
