Deleting a Target System
Deleting a Target System does not affect the physical SAP system. It simply means that this system is no longer part of the PAL landscape.
Before you can delete a Target System, you need to find out first:
...
1. Is the Target System a member of a Target System Group? Check tab strip Member of.
2. Is at least one Printer Group distributed to the Target System Group? Check the Distribution Status of the Target System Group.
If the Target System is not a member of a Target System Group, you can delete it right away.
If the Target System is a member of a Target System Group, you must remove it first as described in Creating a Target System Group, section “Removing a Target System from a Target System Group”.
If there are Printer Groups distributed to the Target System Group, proceed as follows:
1. Delete all Printer Groups from the Target System Group as described in Deleting a Printer Group section “Deleting a Printer Group from a Target System Group”.
2. Then remove the Target System from the Target System Group.
3. Finally select the Target System and click Delete.
The Target System is deleted. You can define it again as Target System.
