You can use the All Transfers function to check the status of the different steps of the system measurement and the data transfer in the measurement program. The staus data is taken directly from the Service Data Control Center (SDCC).

Prerequisites

You have transferred data directly to SAP at least once (see Transferring Measurement Results).

Procedure

  1. In the measurement program (transaction USMM), choose All Transfers.

The dialog box Status of the Transfer of All Measurements appears.

If the status light is green, you can terminate the procedure here, since everything is OK. Otherwise, perform step 2.

  2. Double-click the SDCC Session number of your transfer to call the dialog box SDCC Transfer: Details.

The following status information is displayed there:

    • Status of the background job

    • Status of the SDCC transfer, where the first light shows the overall status of data retrieval and transfer, the second light shows the status of the data retrieval, and the third light shows the status of the transfer.

If all of the status lights are green, you can terminate the procedure here. Otherwise, perform step 3 and/or step 4.

  3. To analyze the error status of the background job, choose JobLog.

The job overview appears, in which you can select the job and display the corresponding log by choosing Job Log. If you identify an error, correct it, or create a customer message under the component SV-GST-SDD. Then perform the transfer again.

  4. To analyze one or more error states of the SDCC transfer, choose SDCC Log.

The individual steps of the transfer process are displayed in the Transfer Log table. If you identify an error in the Text column, correct it or create a customer message. Then perform the transfer again.
