Connecting a Monitored Java System to the Administrative
SLD
You can use this configuration task to connect a monitored Java system to the administrative SLD so that data for the Java system is available in the SLD. This configuration task corresponds to the SLD Data Supplier service in the monitored Java system.

This is the only configuration that you do not execute in the SAP NetWeaver Administrator of CEN, but rather in the SAP NetWeaver Administrator of the monitored system. If the monitored Java system does not have the required release status, you need to perform this step manually.
In the SAP NetWeaver Administrator of CEN, proceed as follows:
1. From the top-level navigation, choose Deploy and Change → Configuration Wizard.
2. In the Configuration Tasks screen area, select NWA_07_creates Destination for Data Supplier Bridge from the task list.
3. In the upper left-hand Configuration Tasks screen area, choose Start.
4. In the Create Destination for SLD Data Supplier in local Java System screen area, enter the following data:
Input Field |
Description |
J2EE Host P4 Port J2EE User J2EE Password |
Connection data of the local Java system for which data is to be entered in the SLD. |
SLD Host SLD Port SLD Administration user SLD Password |
Connection data of the SLD in which the above monitored Java system is to be entered. |
5. Choose Next.
6. Repeat the previous steps until you have executed the configuration tasks in all remote Java systems that you want to monitor centrally.

You also need to enter the J2EE Engine of CEN itself in the SLD in this way.
7. After the execution of the task has finished successfully, choose Return to task list to return to the Configuration Tasks screen.
