Configuring the SAP NetWeaver Administrator – Basic Configuration 

Use

With this configuration task, you create the connection from the J2EE Engine of CEN to the administrative SLD using CIM Client Generation Settings.

Procedure

In the SAP NetWeaver Administrator of CEN, proceed as follows:

       1.      From the top-level navigation, choose Deploy and Change → Configuration Wizard.

       2.      In the Configuration Task screen area, select NWA_03_Creating a connection to the SLD and Setting required authorizations for SLD (CIM client settings) from the task list.

       3.      In the upper left-hand Configuration Tasks screen area, choose Start.

       4.      In the Connection data (Java) screen area, enter the connection data for the J2EE Engine of the SAP NetWeaver Administrator:

Input Field	Description
Java Host Java Port	Access data for the J2EE Engine (host, and port).
Java User Password	Name/password of a user in the J2EE Engine.

 

       5.      Choose Next.

       6.      In the SLD data screen area, enter the connection data for the administrative SLD, and choose Next. More information: Configuring and Activating the Administrative SLD.

       7.      After the execution of the task has finished successfully, choose Return to task list to return to the Configuration Tasks screen.
